In the mumerings of the Crema Forum... occasionaly the much sought after but rarely seen , the veritable Holy Grail of the Fine Coffee Quest...

The one and only 'God Shot' is so very occasionaly mentioned...

But curiously... it is never shown...

Well here is your chance to brag and share and show a Noob like me just what I need to aspire too...

There is no competition between friends (Yeah right!)...

Just a good natured opportunity to show us your very best Baristatorial Excellence...

And so to the good natured folk... The Seniors like KK and the mighty Galumay... who have let it be known they have video proof that the elusive 'God Shot' is a reality- not merely a mythical ideal...

I can show you a shot that looks like shite, but tasted fantastic! I may not have the equipment, but I have tasted enough to know something. I hope they do post some videos, I would like to see them too.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.... I get that! Coffee is all about what's in the cup... But we don't have ismellaPad Apps or even itasteCoffeePad... Yet! So in the meantime the best we have is a vid; Yes? It's fine to talk words and numbers like 6 bar or 9 bar or 83*C or whatever and like a wise man has said... "A picture is worth a thousand words"... So as KK, AM, C-man and others have shown... they are more than just wordsmiths - they can and do produce the goods... I just thought this here might be a bit of fun and a convenient 'one-stop' place to pop in and compare 'notes' or 'vids' as the case may be.... Why don't you just put up your best shot and see what happens?... If you're game....

[img][/img] I pulled this shot this morning using my triple basket from the Presso, I just hammered the rounded edge until it fit. Not bad for a cheap $15 Sunbeam, and tasted heavenly too I should have wiped the dust of the machine first hahah chalk One up for the poor man.. Cheers! C-

Brett, If there was a coffee version of a top fuel drag car getting ready to do a 5 second run, your machine would be it. :P Music to my ears. None of that silent rotary pump Jap sounding things. My love and hate relationship with the Sunbeam EM6910 was something like that. Being a racing fan at heart, my morning music of a V8 idling thermoblock was tempered by a not quite ideal espresso shot. :tearhair: Anyway, that was the bad ole days... Is there robusta in that shot? That was cool.

Very nice Cadan! I especially like the baby bowl you use to catch the extra! With two young kids we have a cupboard full of them so its nice to see put to uses other than baby-food! LOVE THAT MACHINE!!! :thumb:

Thanks Brett yes funny you mention the baby bowls ,I have also used our old wooden change table as a coffee station :-| The La peppina makes a very nice coffee
