After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Had a day off.

Traveled to Adelaide yesterday to pick up a friend arriving from the US.

Back in the real world today.

  • Have you treated them to a quality Aussie coffee yet? .. as I hear most Americans drink that percolated swill. Don't tell 'em I said that .. anyway, keep us updated on the d00d visiting the lucky Country
  • G'Day Moon, The lady in question is an ex pat Aussie, married an American whilst working in Woomera approx 1970 and left for the U.S. shortly after, she has lived there (California) ever since. Yep, the Bezzera has been working overtime, cappuccino is the beverage of choice, and quite a few have been made in the past 24 hours. In defense of American coffee, the situation has improved dramatically over the past 10 years, its certainly possible to get a decent coffee in most places nowadays.
