But that would be soda brew, not nitro brew!  :rofl:  Would be interesting all the same.  I've never owned one, I calculated that purchasing one, and gas, is more expensive than my wife buying soda water from Coles in bottles without the hassle.   They used to be massive when I was a kid though.

Oh I know... Complete waste of money in my opinion which is why I had the neighbours buy one.  Yep, it'll be different but I bet it's still awesome.  I'm going to go light roasted Yirg when I get the green light.  Was going to be this weekend but neighbour is sick and my wife is also sick.  One of the children has given them Gastro.  They're bothblike a human soda-stream only without the smiling from the 80's advert.  They've got to not share it with me otherwise my next post will be from bloody hospital n a drip again.  The only bonus last time was a visit from Mark (AM) with some sharper rocky burrs.  That reminds me....

Spent the last few weeks working on all things bubbly:) Had a set of taps in a café in the city center and things went pretty good, they might even take it on for the summer months.

Considering there's only been a handful of good days here(sunshine and blue sky's) I've been flat out between running the bus and coldbrewing/ nitro. I'm supplying one city center location and they can't get enough. The Coldbrew I'd served straight up over ice or as their base for iced coffees and the nitro has been going better than I expected. Also supplying a coldbrew simple syrup that's used instead of flavours. Question, does boiling coffee burn off any caffeine? Next up is a pressurised brewing system, been throwing ideas around so that everything is only exposed to air for a minimum amount of time from start to finish, gonna try and get it together over the next two weeks...maybe three:)

Does boiling coffee burn off caffeine?  Roasting darker does but those differences start at 195degC and extend through 220degC so I'm going to say no!

Looks like nitro season is back up and running here:) Few projects keeping me busy here, added a photo of one of my display units, all uncycled bits and pieces but it did the job at a catering expo last month. Seems if the nitro thing falls through there's a decent demand for beer taps!
