After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

FS - San Marino 1grp CKX semi-auto
Up for sale to a Melbournian is my San Marino CKX 1grp semi-auto.
A tough, compact HX unit with in-built tank that is so easy to refill. It can be adapted for drain hose.
Comes with single and double portafilter - all original. No manual but I have a PDF if you need it - pretty simple machine to operate.
Never had a fault. Always backflushed after about 5kgs of coffee and chemically descaled every 6 months regardless of use over the last 5 years.
It's been sitting on the end of the kitchen bench not used very often and I'm under strict instructions from the OH to return to her some bench space - seems 2 machines and 3 grinders does not leave much room to prepare meals - I really don't know what she is on about actually - is'nt coffee considered a food ?.
It's the older style with the ABS black top - sometimes referred to as an ugly duckling. However, make no mistake, this little machine will outlast any of the domestic machines in this price range. The internals of the CKX have not changed from this model and today are identical to the CKX and Wega Mininova's sold for over $2.5K new.
Really small footprint, great capacity in-built tank and despite what many people may post about San Marino's, this one does not run too hot.
Have enjoyed many a stellar and memorable shot from this baby over the years. Quite forgiving in dose and shot technique.
Only available for pickup or I can deliver in 30km Melbourne radius. Apologies as couriers and espresso machines should never be mentioned in the same sentence.
Will throw in 2kg of fresh roasted beans, 1kg Espresso machine cleaner and a new 58mm tamper - that's $140 value.
Sad to see if leave.......will post some pics up when I get a chance.
$650 and it's all yours - having to say goodbye to my trusty friend may be very difficult
