After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

A few days on the Murray.

Heather and I have just returned home after spending a few days camping on the Murray River near the SA town of Morgan with our delightful 3 year old Labrador Missy.

All very pleasant. :)

  • That looks like tough work mate!  Glad you had a great time!
  • Missy enjoyed the swim, then came out and shook herself all over me, guess that's what dogs do. :D
  • Mmmmmm, wet dog  ;D. I don't think I have ever been there, possibly as a kid with my grandparents but that was a loooooong time ago  ^-^.
  • Yeah but what did you do for coffee ? Cowboy style with hot water and grains in a cup ?
  • Closer to the truth than you realise. I have had a Portapresso for a few years, its always been a bit of a love hate relationship. Used the PP the first day, then decided it was more effort than the result was worth, so, yep, went cowboy, let me tell you 20 grams of ground coffee in the cup, top up with boiling water, allow to stand for a couple of minutes, results in a pretty reasonable brew. Just don't gulp the last mouth full. ;)
