After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

  • Hey there , wow im sure impressed with this machine made a long american coffee last night 1st time my toes starting tingling with a coffee most satisfying long lasting coffee experience ive ever had , and hot choclates are excellent aswell , i always clean machine with water after frothing or brewin a shot , very happy with grinder aswell so quite and quick used lavazza beanz seem quite good as the shots flow golden and good crema even with long american shotz , i figure 300 drinks made will cover cost of machine not bad at all and dun have to move cup either gr8 on a frosty morning , and ive had coffees all over the world and oz so my tastebuds have some experience , drip tray is very qucik and simple to wash and refit i do this the end of each day will remove steam wand once a week for wash , happy that machines made in europe aswell , a lil confusing on power of machine box states 1600 watt elswhere says 1475 watt online ive even seen 1300 watt mentioned , i considered a few other machines most mentioned on coffee snobs review page like the unico , rocket , brewster 3 and 1 that the suppliers in oz gone down  :o real funky shape aswell , also i considered san remo and ckxe autos best sites online i saw were coffee italia , coffee craft and coffeeparts , italia annouyed me a bit cos they refused to honor there matching price bidding online feature , in the end maddness was drawing near and i only have hn near me , over 4 hour drives to melb collecting toys in day trips specially if u need to go bak the next day   ;) , so hn slashed the price included a xtra 4 year warranty , its gr8 having espresso on demand as its actually very good for you acts as a dueretic cleansing for the liver and kidneys amongst other things , when i enjoy a coffee or drink made with machine its so much more satisfying than whats to be had in cafes anyone good luck to all brew away cheers  ;D
  • mate you clearly enjoy your coffee but what about punctuation! lol ;D try some fresh beans (as opposed to Lavaza) - locally roasted and less than two weeks old next time and I'm sure you will notice a massive difference! oh, and welcome to the forum! Acg
  • Hi. We have bought the krups XP9000 and it is great.  However, we dont seem to like the cuppacino the way the milk goes in then the crema. We tried putting the espresso first, then placing a jug of milk in the steamer, but the milk seems to be bubbling over.  Has anyone experienced this?  We are trying to make a flat white, not too much froth.  We only bought this coffee machine a couple of days ago. Any suggestions? Thanks Ang PS This is a great site! :)
  • Gooday! I am still having problems with the froth.  It seems to be too bubbly.  Does anyone out there know why this machine does this?  I know it needs to be silky but it is very bubbly.  What do I do?   Need some coffee :)
  • I am not familiar with this machine However some things never change You need to practice, practice & practice and work with the capabilities of your machine   Here are some videos on you tube to help you http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Krups+XP9000&search_type=&aq=f KK
  • Thankyou.  I have seen this a few days ago
