OK guys, I'm moving house in two days time and will entertain offers that might otherwise seem a little silly. Not truly ridiculous offers, but fairly on the silly side. Here's the catch tho - it needs to be out of my house by tomorrow night to be worth entertaining the mildly ludicrous offers that will now surely roll in. I'd rather sell it than move it!

Holy cow !..that is a hell of a steal. ??? If i wasnt moving also this week,..and didnt have too many espresso machines(and grinders) already.. ..i would be all over that. come on guys, someone help the guy out of a fix.. for this price you could buy and resell on Ebay and make a tidy dolla.

That's what I thought, for !K in the used market you have a lot to choose from even E61s

Superficially perhaps, but it's NOT an E61 and in my opinion is a class-beater with a featureset that makes my price a steal. Oh, and remind me next time any of you jokers feel like selling something to publicly talk down the price of it. [emoji106]

Not meaning to be an ahole about it Kelsey but it's quite simple really. The price is right when someone buys it. You obviously haven't met the market yet. So either drop the price until it sells or hang on to it. I still have my more or less brand new $2k 99 sitting on the bench as I know I would be insulted if I tried to sell it. So knowing the second hand market I wont even bother trying to sell it. It can go to the farm and live out there. What you think it's worth and what someone is prepared to pay are often worlds apart.

And I understand that fully, but I can guarantee that the whiteanting I've received on this thread would make it a self fulfilling prophecy if I kept trying to sell here.

You should know by now that selling anything second hand, particularly espresso machines is going to attract " white anting" . Unless you are more or less giving it away ( which is seen as an absolute bargain) the inevitable reaction is " tell him he's dreamin' " Now, add up how many cups of coffee that machine has made and multiply that by $ 3.50. Then compare that to what you paid for the machine. You will find that the machine owes you absolutely nothing and has probably saved you a couple of grand. Just sayin'
