If only I could find the charger for the digital camera ???........coming soon, even if I need to use the crappy iPhone4 camera. A couple of people have expressed interest already. Some FAQ's...... 1) How old is it? There is no build date on the manufacturer's plate. it has the original Australian importer's plate as well as the factory CMA plate on the machine. I've had it for 5 years and I bought it from a "mate" in the industry who sold it to me new - it had been sitting in their warehouse BNIB for a couple of years before that. I paid about $1800 for it. 2) What size is the tank? (is it a bit of a pain filling it up so often?) It has a surprisingly large water tank - and it's glass tube like a big beaker, not plastic - apparently 1.3 lt capacity. Compared to my Minore, the CKX is so much easier to refill. 3) Is there an plumb-in option that can be easily retro-fitted? Apparently yes according to website specs. However, I have not been inside the machine for a couple of years to verify the method of hooking up the input water hose, but I know there is a collection tray and pop-out under the drip tray so that a drain hose can be made to fit. 4) How many watts and amps does it run on? 1300w, or about 5 - 6 Amps 5) Any quirks I should be made aware of? I give the steam wand knob a little tighten - and I'm talking a fraction of a turn, just a little nip, when I first turn on the machine. Like most machines when you turn them off hot the knobs are not as tight when the machine is cold and components are "shrunken". I suppose I could turn it tighter when I'm finished and it's hot, but I treat it gently. The impact is that the wand may emit a few drips when heating up. I don't believe the wand rubber seal is worn. 6) Cosmetics The steam wand lost part of it's silver coating some time ago and it's essentially brass on the tip. Does'nt change the operation of the machine and purely visual. I noticed this morning the portafilters had a few marks on the plastic parts where they were tapped against the knock-tube - I can't ever remember being so violent with these handles, so I'm wondering now if they are actually from one of my larger commercial San Marino machines and somehow have been swapped around. The commercial San Marino gear is fully compatible. Few scuff marks around the front panel where the buttons are. Looks really good from behind (like a lovely lady). 7) The dimensions would be roughly.... ? 325mm wide, 445mm deep, 425mm high 8) Payment methods Cash, Bank Transfer or Credit card (Visa or Mastercard only). Where's that bloody charger I say....
