I cant see why we in Australia have to suffer through the feelings of cultural cringe displayed by those in the cafe industry who feel they have to call someone that professionally operates an espresso machine in business by a foreign word for barman. Doesn't make sense really, since when does a barman make coffee in this country? Many barmen I know actually have a real averson to operating espresso machines and would rather pour a beer. Mal.
