Palaszczuk, pronounciation?????

I'm wondering why the the surname Palaszczuk is pronounced Palashay in QLD when the rest of the world pronounces it Palachook?

I suspect a little name sensitivity crept in somewhere along the line. :-|

Silly twat does not know how to pronounce her name. It is not Pala chook. Correct pronunciation is Pa La Shchook. It is a difficult pronunciation to say in English. You have to pronounce the sz and then the czuk. Anyway, watch QLD debt skyrocket to new heights, as the unemployment problem is fixed by hiring more public servants.

OMG I have been saying the same thing to my other half. Its not been pronounced correctly! I here it all over the news from Journos using Palashay. lol.
