After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Not what machine but the best people to buy from

We can all buy machines these days but who (retailers) really knows their stuff and teaches anyone the hows and whys at point of sale.
Who does it the best ?

  • Hi Rossco - you're right - there's not that many about that give good service and support. In know FC is big on that but he hasn't bbeen on the forum for a while. He's based in Canberra. L
  • Yep, I couldn't put it better! we've bought our first Gaggia from a Retailer, and were looking to upgrade to a HX machine. We spoke to FC, but since he's in Canberra, we were looking for someone local in the eastern suburbs, where we can see the machine in action and be helped with the decision on the right for us. We came across Di Bartoli Coffee Centre just driving pass in Bondi Junction, and they helped us throughout the process and even delivered the machine to our home for free. They have a great set up with most HX machines operating, so you can have them all demonstrated and play with yourself. We

  • Like anything else, it pays to shop around, and establish a good rapport with a potential supplier - also, good after sales service is a must.
