G'day Sheepy, I'm not trying to cast aspersions on your cleanliness, but how often do you clean the milk frother/wand. I've had a look at the other thread you mentioned and I remember that someone mentioned that they cleaned it once a week by soaking the frother nozzle (I can't remember if that was you or not :-[). Once a week definitely isn't regular enough for a steaming wand or milk frother cleaning. It should be cleaned thoroughly after every use. (I apologise if it wasn't your machine I'm referring to). With the service tech telling you that it's the type of milk you're using that's causing the fault, ask him/her to give you a recommendation for the 'correct' type of milk to use so as to avoid a repeat breakdown. I suspect that that he/she won't be able to do this though 😉. The only thing you can really do is to keep sending it to get repaired when it breaks down. Ensure that you keep every bit of corro and every bill. You'll need if this goes any further, ie to court or to a current affair ;D. All the best with it.
